Suzanne Hokett: Owner/Interior Designer

Suzanne is the owner of Design Central and has been an interior designer there since 1982.  She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State University.  With over 30 years of field experience, Suzanne will assist commercial business customers with all aspects of office furniture purchases and interior design solutions.  She especially enjoys doing space planning for customer, helping them make the most of their limited space, creating pleasant workstation solutions for employees.  Often times this is for customers with an existing inventory of products that need a “new” look and feel.  Suzanne also focuses on Healthcare Customers helping them leverage their group purchasing contracts for maximum buying power.

Melissa Isaacson: Interior Designer

Melissa Isaacson, has been at Design Central since 2006. Melissa has a BS in Interior Design from Kansas State University. Melissa works with clients to specify finishes and furniture,  helping them create a fresh new look that is right for their company. She also specializes in space planning and will encourage the customer to look outside the box to find the most functional use of their space. 

Audrey George: Interior Designer

Audrey is the newest member on the design team. She comes to us from Kansas State University with a MA of Interior Architecture and Product Design. She works with clients to determine specific design goals and she challenges the user to see potential within the space. Her objective is to see to it that your project is personal, functional and a cut above what you thought possible.

Dave Birdsong: Sales Representative

Dave is a native of Salina with 35 years of experience in the contract furniture business and interior design. He is a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture. Whether the need is large or small Dave will listen carefully to each customer’s business objectives to provide solutions that are specifically tailored to meet those objectives. Working with the professional design staff at Design Central the goal is to create functional, well-planned work environments that are aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to work in. Using his experience and knowledge Dave will strive to meet and exceed each customer’s expectations.

Luke Gordon: Sales Representative

Luke Gordon a native of Marion, Kansas, will be responsible for sales and customer service. Luke attended Fort Hays State University, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration. Luke is looking forward to helping Design Central call on customers throughout central Kansas to assist them with office furniture needs and interior design services.

Angela Campbell: Accounting/Order Management

Every good organization needs a skilled administrative assistant and Design Central has Angela Campbell. Starting in 1985, Angela has been responsible for all aspects of accounting, order processing, order management, and customer service. Angela is a Steelcase certified network coordinator ready to assist companies throughout the United States with intermarket deliveries and installations anywhere in Central and Western Kansas.

Tony Pollock: Service Manager

Tony Pollock, service manager, has been at Design Central since 1995. He is factory trained and certified by Steelcase as a lead installer. Tony and his crew personally handle all of the deliveries and installation of furniture for Design Central. They are responsible for making sure each item is installed to the customer’s satisfaction. Other services they provide include chair repair, caster replacement, wood repair, and workstation reconfiguration.
