An electrical contractor originally based out of Beloit, Heineken Electric, recently constructed a new facility on the outskirts of Salina – just up the road from their start-up space. Much more room was needed for current operations as well as future growth. A number of offices were created from private to moderately or highly separated open offices. Each open area had its own unique style – cantilevered desks for floating employees, L-shaped units with a lot of paper storage, and height adjustable desks with plenty of table space for piling and spreading-out documents. All areas really flowed by using one manufacturing line capable of taking care of all their needs. A panel system was set up to a couple different heights, depending on privacy and sound absorption needs; a nice frameless glass really broke up the space in a clean way, too. Heineken’s conference room also became a stunning sight with a large, dark, wood-grained table and soft, light-colored executive chairs. Their own electrical expertise really created a functional, exciting environment for this ever-changing world.
