Design Central helped the design
committee select carpet and paint finishes as well as furniture for their
remodel creating a whole new lock for their library. We inventoried their
existing furniture and helped them decide what pieces should be reused and what
should be replaced based on budgetary constraints and the overall impact each
piece would have on the look and feel of the library. Design Central then
completed finish and furniture bid documents to ensure that the library was
finished as the board envisioned.
By reusing and reupholstering some of the libraries existing furniture and adding a couple of signature pieces, we created a fun space for children to learn and explore the world through reading. The letter mural was painted by a local artist. .
