In addition to the main campus, Saint Francis also hosts multiple transitional houses. Both the Girls’ Cottage and the Boys’ Dorm are home to individuals phasing back into a smaller and steadier environment. The goal was to find a unique blend of warm and homey furnishings yet still retain the durability of a behavioral health product. Bedroom furniture pieces are constructed out of thermally fused laminate and secured to the floors and walls all units were to be completely tamper-proof. The public spaces consist of multi-functional lounge pieces and tables, strategically deigned to create both fun and work setting for these young individuals.
